Pleasanton Park Playground Renovation Project Completed

The playground at Pleasanton Park was completed in early April. Although parks and facilities are currently closed due to the COVID-19 health crisis, LARMAC continues to work diligently on planned projects and the facility maintenance so that they will be ready to re-open as soon as they are able to be re-opened.

Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corporation (LARMAC) has completed the Pleasanton Park playground replacement project.

The installation of the playground was completed the first week in April, ahead of schedule. LARMAC staff worked closely with the contractor, Dave Bang Associates, who installed the playground in 1-1/2 weeks which had been estimated at 2-3 weeks.

The tree house themed, post and platform play structure is appropriate for 2-5 year olds and includes:

  • Two (2) slides
  • Small bridge
  • Climbing surfaces (rope ladder, stepping footholds and cut log pieces)
  • Telescope
  • Built-in shade
  • Note: The sand play area was replaced with a rubber play surface

Although the work on the playground is finished, currently parks and playgrounds are closed due to State and Orange County health agency restrictions that are related to the COVID-19 health crisis. LARMAC continues to work dilligently to complete projects as planned/scheduled so that facilities are ready to re-open to residents once the restrictions are lifted. Announcements related to COVID-19 and how facilites are impacted can be found here.

LARMAC will work with LARCS to announce the re-opening of parks, playgrounds and facilities as soon as the state restrictions are lifted.
