Update on Pool Re-plastering Project (1/9/2020)

The re-plastering project at the Canterra Plunge, Oak Knoll Recreation Pool and two pools at Township Plunge have been completed and are open for residents to enjoy.

As part of this project, LARMAC replaced the water lines, replaced the trim tile, and installed new self-filling water values and handrails. Along with these improvements, the old plaster was replaced with a new pebble aggregate that has a life expectancy of 15 to 20 years. This is the most durable of the plaster pool types.

The Oak Knoll Village Clubhouse Lap Pool is currently in the process of being re-plastered and just passed pre-plaster inspection from the County. LARMAC is now preparing the pool for plastering and estimates the pool will re-open mid-February.
The Avendale Village Clubhouse Pool and Township Plunge are open and available for residents to use for lap swimming or recreational swim. Township Plunge will be heated while the main lap pools are under improvements. Upon the opening of Oak Knoll Lap Pool re-plastering will begin at the Avendale Village Clubhouse Lap Pool and Wader.
