Skate Park Use Requires Wearing Face Masks
On November 16, 2020 Governor Newsom and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued the executive order downgrading Orange County into the “Purple Tier”, the most restrictive level of the state’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy plan. In addition, the CDPH also issued guidance for the state of California which mandated the use of face coverings in outdoor, public settings. The LARMAC Board of Directors has reviewed these orders and has implemented the following additions to the Temporary Facility Use Rules related to COVID-19
- Residents will be advised, by posted signage, of the CDPH guidelines for the use of outdoor playgrounds
- As the state has issued specific instruction that skate parks are to be classified as outdoor playgrounds, users of the Terramor Skate Park will be required to follow posted guidelines, which include the mandatory use of a face covering at all times.
The LARMAC Board understands how important it is to Ladera Ranch residents to have access to outdoor recreation facilities like playgrounds and the skate park. These facilities provide a much needed outlet for remaining social and active. Following these temporary facility use guidelines allows for these facilities to remain open while continuing to comply with government orders, reducing liability risk to the association, and prioritizing the health and safety of all residents of the community.
