Projects:
- Disc Golf Project: This is a LARMAC and LARCS joint project; O'Connell recently cleared the area and Boulder Earthwork installed stairs to access the back 9 holes.
- Cox Sports Park Garage Door Replacement: This garage is used by Diamonds, the sports field maintenance vendor that maintains Cox Sports Park.
- Park Bench Replacements: The park benches at Boreal Plunge were replaced with new benches made of 100% recycled plastic.
- Playground Surface: This poured-in-place play surface was installed at Eaton Park, which is one of 6 playgrounds that were refurbished in accordance with the reserve study.
- Gazebo Refurbishment: The gazebo at The Gables neighborhood pocket park was refurbished and looks terrific. The refurbishment included wood repairs and repainting.
- Court Resurfacing (Tennis and Pickleball): The courts at Avendale Village Clubhouse now have a dedicated tennis court and two dedicated pickleball courts.
- Volleyball Court Drainage and Sand Replacement: This project is being done at the same time as the Founders Park field renovation project and will provide the needed drainage for the courts.
- Patio Furniture Replacement: The patio furniture at the Avandale Village Clubhouse has been replaced with new furniture made from 100% reused plastic (1,200 milk jugs), and looks terrific. The furniture that was located here previously was moved to the Flintridge Village Clubhouse, where additional furniture was needed around the perimeter.
- Pool Restroom Door Replacement and Interior Paint Project: Here, LARMAC replaced doors and repainted the interior of the pool restrooms at Avendale Village Clubhouse.
- Mailbox Replacement: Following the replacement of the mailboxes at Potters Bend, the mailboxes in the Weatherhaven neighborhood were replaced with the same style of cluster mailboxes.
- Trellis Replacement at Mission Hills Park: The trellis at this Covenant Hills neighborhood park was replaced at the end of May.
- Horno Basin Sediment Removal: Located at the south end of Ladera Ranch, the basin required that sediment be removed, and some repair work was done.
- Perimeter Fence Replacement: The perimeter fencing at Arroyo Park, located in the Covenant Hills neighborhood, which had been made of concrete and rebar, was replaced with new vinyl fencing.
- Vandalism: On a quarterly basis, the patrol company reports on vandalism.
- Landscape and Irrigation: Every other month, O'Connell Landscape and Mosaic Consulting report on their respective areas.
- Landscape-Acacia Removal: Acacia shrubs were removed as part of the fuel modification and defensible space program.
- Landscape-Fuel Modification: This is an ongoing project throughout Ladera Ranch. O'Connell has been hard at work with this major effort to ensure that LARMAC is in compliance with OCFA standards.
- Tree Maintenance-Tree Removal: Select Eucalyptus and Pine tree removal in the Oak Knoll Village. Before and after photos are included
