LARMAC recently renovated Stargazing Park, also known as "Planet Park," in the Claiborne 1 neighborhood of Terramor Village. This park is known for its solar system theme, featuring concrete planets and a storybook statue.
In recent years, the concrete planets have disappeared, the statue has accumulated algae, the trellis needs repair, and the benches have faded and worn out.
LARMAC’s skilled maintenance team addressed these issues by crafting and installing 10 new concrete spheres using molds: 8 planets, Earth, and the Sun. They also refurbished and repainted the trellis and two benches while the janitorial crew restored the book statue, eliminating the algae.
Debbie Avoux, a resident of Ladera Ranch known for her community artwork, meticulously repainted the concrete planets, rejuvenating the solar system's appearance.
Thanks to the expertise of our technicians and Debbie's artistic touch, Stargazing Planet Park has been revitalized into a welcoming spot once again, perfect for enjoying a book while exploring our celestial neighbors.
