Upgrades Made Throughout Cox Sports Park

Numerous Projects Completed Ahead of Busy Sports Season

Cox Sports Park is always bustling with activity, and although the two main sports seasons are Spring and Fall, the offseasons are often used to complete major projects in order to keep Cox Sports Park as a premiere athletic facility in Orange County.

Highlighted by the installation of new, artifical turf on Cox Field 4, the park has seen a number of upgrades take place in recent weeks. Similar to the playing surface of Soccer A Field, Cox Field 4 will now be the first baseball field in Ladera able to stay open year-round. Additional work done includes relamping of over 150 lights spanning the four baseball diamonds, rebuilding of the staircase that connects Soccer A Field to Cox Field 3, repairing the nets in the four batting cages, and replacing the shade sail at the playground. All projects are seen as significant upgrades, which will extend the useful life of each asset of the park, ultimately making for a more enjoyable experience for all who visit and frequesntly use the faciltiies.

With over 3,000 athletes participating in organized sports this Fall in Ladera Ranch, Cox Sports Park is more ready than ever to host the upcomng competitions!
