Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corporation (LARMAC) proudly celebrates Arbor Day 2024 by planting five 24” Quercus Engelmanii, also known as the Engelmann Oak or Pasadena Oak, along the Sienna Botanica. This initiative aligns with LARMAC's commitment to maintaining its urban forest and the environment while maintaining the integrity of Ladera Ranch's original design.
The five medium-growth rate oak trees are expected to grow about 24 inches annually. These beautiful evergreen trees are expected to provide environmental benefits, beautify the popular Sienna Botanica trail, and provide shade for walkers year-round.
Planting trees is important to preserving the environment and creating a sustainable future. Trees provide various benefits, including filtering pollutants from the air, reducing soil erosion, and providing shade that can lower temperatures and improve air quality. By planting these oak trees, LARMAC improves the local environment and provides a beautiful space for the community to enjoy.
