Photo enthusiast and Ladera resident, Kevin Morris submitted a photo of his family walking the trails that meander through his home town and wins the community photo contest and will be featured on the summer issue of Roots and Wings magazine.
Ladera Ranch Community Services (LARCS) announced the winner of the "My Life in Ladera" photo contest that gave residents the opportunity to share their captured moments and a chance to be featured on the cover of the upcoming summer issue of the community magazine, Roots and Wings.
Photo enthusiast and Ladera resident, Kevin Morris submitted a photo that features his wife, Lindsey pushing their son Finn in his stroller while the family dog, Vinny strolled alongside them during a hike along the meandering County Regional Trail at dusk.
Morris' photo was selected from dozens that were received by LARCS, Ladera's lifestyle department that is known for the events, recreation programming classes, LaderaLife.com (Ladera's intranet site) and lifestyle programs and activities.
The photo shoot for the cover of Roots and Wings magazine was held at the Flintride Village Clubhouse on March 25 and shows the Morris family enjoying family time at one of the community's four clubhouses. The summer issue of the magazine will arrive in homes early May.
