Workshop Offers the Opportunity to Connect and Have Fun

Ladera Ranch Community Services (LARCS) recently held a wine and craft workshop where residents enjoyed creating a spring wreath, sipping wine, and snacked on delicious hors d'oeuvres.

Judy Young, Event Coordinator for LARCS, said, “Our workshops are a fun opportunity for girls’ time, mini dates, or to enjoy a few hours with neighbors.”

On Thursday, April 27, the LARCS workshop was held at the Oak Knoll Village Clubhouse. Attendees were warmly greeted and served colorful and delicious hors d'oeuvres and delightful treats. Beverage options included wine and tea. Creative Creatures led attendees in the wreath-making process, which involved detailed cutting and shaping felt.

An attendee who came to the workshop following a long, stressful day said it was the perfect way to end the day - on a relaxing high note. The evening was filled with laughter, conversation, and the consensus that the evening was time well spent. Lea P. said, "My friends and I were absolutely amazed by the staff's hospitality and overall experience. It was a lovely (evening), and I look forward to participating in more events like this."

Watch for other workshops coming later this year. If you have ideas for workshops, you may contact Judy at judy.young@fsresidential.com
