With the start of the new school year, the Teen Leadership Council (TLC) has appointed new members to be a part of this year’s Council.

With the start of the new school year, the Teen Leadership Council (TLC) has appointed new members to be a part of this year’s Council. TLC is excited to hear some of the new members’ creative ideas regarding the planning of annual events to ensure they are enjoyable for all.
 
Below are some activities organized by TLC for the year ahead.

December: Tree Lighting Ceremony and Letters to Santa
Every year, the community kicks-off the holiday season with the Miracle on Mercantile Way and Tree Lighting in which children and parents are both able to enjoy a multitude of fun activities: photos with Santa, winter-themed photo opportunities, delicious winter treats, the chance to make a contribution to Toys for Troops, and last but not least, the lighting of the 60 ft tree at Town Green. TLC ensures that young children have the opportunity to write letters to Santa and receive a letter in response, written by Santa himself!

MARCH: Spring Celebration
Spring Celebration is a signature event in Ladera Ranch and TLC hosts a variety of spring activities to keep children engaged in the hunt for Easter eggs!

JULY: July 4th Teen Zone
TLC works hard every year to put on a memorable Teen Zone during the July 4th Celebration with exciting activities for teens in grades 6 to 12.
