Potters Bend Landscape Enhancement Project

As part of LARMAC’s ongoing Front Yard Special Benefit Area (SBA) landscape maintenance, the Potters Bend landscape and trees were recently evaluated for an upcoming neighborhood enhancement project starting on Monday, June 22nd.

The tree assessment looked at overall health, structure, growth patterns, and each tree's role in the neighborhood. The goal is to support a safe, healthy landscape while reducing potential impacts to nearby homes and properties.

The project, which begins on Monday, June 22, will be completed in two phases.

Phase 1: Regularly scheduled tree trimming, along with select tree removals and replacements, is already underway. This phase will take approximately 20 working days to complete.

Phase 2: Turf removal, landscape replacement, and stepping stone installation/replacement will follow. This phase is connected to the Metropolitan Water District of Orange County (MWDOC)/Santa Margarita Water District (SMWD) turf removal rebate program. A start date has not yet been confirmed.

To help O'Connell Landscape Maintenance crews work safely and efficiently, signage will be placed on or near trees scheduled for maintenance. These signs will request that vehicles not be parked next to the designated area during working hours. We kindly ask all residents to comply with the posted notices and use alternative parking while crews are onsite.
