- Home Painting and Exterior Maintenanc...
Given the emphasis on exterior home painting in the past few years, numerous homes have been recently painted. Thank you to those homeowners who have reinvested in your home. Despite the efforts to communicate the importance and the requirement to apply fresh paint to the exterior home, many homes in the community are still in need of an exterior paint refresh. LARMAC will be increasing its enforcement efforts for exterior paint over the next several months. If you have never painted your home and/or your home is showing signs of fading, chipping, etc. you likely need to repaint your home.
Now is a great time to freshen up your home by applying new paint to the exterior stucco and/or wood surfaces. Our hot California sun can be rough on exterior paint and home materials, requiring our homes being repainted approximately every 4-8 years depending on the material. As an example, LARMAC repaints your common area facilities approx. every 4 years (for wood surfaces) and approx. every 8 years (for stucco surfaces).
Reminder: If you wish to change the current color scheme on your property or make any changes to your home or yard, please do not proceed until you receive Aesthetic Review Committee approval.

Wrought Iron Fence Repainting Reminder: Did you know that most of the wrought iron perimeter fencing, including the fences surrounding your rear yard, are the responsibility of the homeowner to repaint and maintain? Irrigation and inclement weather can really beat up wrought iron and begin to damage it over time. LARMAC would like to remind you to monitor your wrought iron fencing on a regular basis and to repaint it as necessary to avoid the need of replacing it too soon!
