Congratulations to re-elected member Jay Rogers and newly elected Todd Stearns to the LARCS Board of Directors. With two seats on the LARCS Board available, the top two candidates were elected to serve a 3-year term.

LARCS would like to thank Greg Sink, who has served on the LARCS Board of Directors since 2016. Greg started volunteering with LARCS in 2006 and served on the Event Planning Committee from 2009 to 2016. The community and LARCS Board of Directors appreciate his dedication and service to his community. Greg will continue to serve as Neighborhood Activity Coordinator for Sterling Glen 2, where he participates in decorating the neighborhood and his home (Frozen theme) each year for the holidays. Greg will continue his involvement with the Marines of the 1ST Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (1ST LAR), stationed in Camp Pendleton.

Thank you to all the members (Ladera residents) who voted in the election and especially to the neighborhood representatives who attended and participated in the election selection meeting by confirming the votes for their respective neighborhoods. The Inspectors of Election (TIE), the third-party organization that specializes in running elections for homeowner associations, attended the June 14 Selection Meeting and announced the results of the election.

In addition to the formalities of the election, the Selection Meeting was a good time for Neighborhood Representatives to get to know each other and enjoy a wonderful evening outdoors at the Oak Knoll Village Clubhouse. Prizes were awarded to attendees by Community Partners, including O'Connell Landscape Maintenance (platinum), Cox Communications (Gold), Heritage Communities (Silver), Ladera Family & Sports Chiropractic (Bronze), NuAge Spa (Bronze), and Mosaic Consulting, Inc.
