Ladera Dads Make Time to Build Bonds with their Children, and Have Fun Together Along the Way

Through this program, parents have a tremendous opportunity to get to spend time with their child, and get to know them on a deeper level.

Created by the YMCA to strengthen family relationships, the Y Adventures Guides and Princesses Program (formally Y Indian Guides and Princesses) enables parents and their children to have fun while sharing new adventures and learning about each other.

Through this program, parents and their children become part of a small community along with other families that enjoy monthly gatherings, community service learning projects and participation in a variety of activities including camp outs, bowling, pinewood derby, dances, sporting events, hiking, fishing, zip lining, archery and much more.

As a parent of a young child, Ladera Ranch residents have a tremendous opportunity to get to spend time with their child, and get to know them on a deeper level. Spending quality one-on-one time with a child will help build a strong bond of trust and memories that will last a lifetime. The YMCA is currently enrolling for Father/Daughter and Father/Son expeditions for youth K-6th grade.
