This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Freedom Run and the 250th birthday of our nation! The Freedom Run on the Ranch is a cherished Ladera Ranch tradition that bursts with fitness, community pride, and the joy of giving back. Lace up, walk, run, or simply cheer on your neighbors as we come together to support local charities and honor our nation’s independence in true festive spirit.

Run for a cause!
Choose your challenge—whether it’s the Kids Firecracker 1K, the 5K Run, or the more demanding 10K. All race registration fees and sponsorship proceeds support local charities, including the Jessie Rees Foundation – NEGU.

Whether you're running, cheering, or just soaking in the fun, there’s something for everyone! Stroll through the sponsor and vendor village, packed with local businesses, giveaways, and family-friendly activities. And don’t forget to grab a delicious breakfast available for purchase from Xclusive.

Event Schedule:
6:00 am: Race Registration Opens
7:00 am: 10k Run Starts
8:00 am: Breakfast Begins
8:30 an: 5k Run Starts
9:45 am: Kids Firecracker 1k Run Starts
11:00 am: Event Concludes

Packet Pickup: 
Race packets can be picked up on Friday, July 3 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in front of Board and Brew in Ladera Ranch or on race day morning starting at 6:00 a.m. at 1 Daisy Street.

$45: 10k Run
$35: 5k Run
$60: Freedom Run Double – 10k and 5k
$15: Kids Firecracker 1k Run – Age 10 and under
$8: Xclusive American Breakfast
