Cox Internet Service: New Faster Speed Available for Ladera Ranch Residents

Ladera Ranch residents who are LARMAC HOA members will now receive an increased speed with Cox Internet Ultimate, which comes with download speeds up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds up to 30 Mbps. Previously, Ladera Ranch residents had the Cox Premier Internet tier that gave them download speeds of 150 Mbps.

For Ladera Ranch residents who are LARMAC HOA members, Cox Internet service is paid through the monthly HOA assessments. As part of the Cox/LARMAC bulk agreement, LARMAC members who are Ladera Ranch residents are guaranteed low rates (currently $23.99/mo., effective June 1, 2017) for Cox Internet Ultimate, which comes with download speeds up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds up to 30 Mbps. Previously, Ladera Ranch residents had the Cox Premier Internet tier that gave them download speeds of 150 Mbps.

Cox Internet Service is Paid for through your Monthly HOA Assessment Fee.
With this service being paid through your LARMAC homeowner's assessment fees, you shouldn’t receive an internet service bill from Cox unless you have an upgraded plan or lease a modem from Cox Communications.

The Modem You'll Need for the Faster Speed

A DOCSIS 3 modem (with 16 channels or greater) is required to receive optimal speeds for your Internet service. If you don't currently have a DOCSIS 3 modem, you have the option of leasing a modem from Cox, purchasing a modem from Cox (via the Cox Solutions store) or purchasing one on your own. If you do choose to purchase your own modem, click here for a list of recommended modems. Please note that a modem is not included in the Internet service and additional fee/cost will apply if you should need to upgrade your modem.
