Update from the Ladera Rancho Chamber of Commerce by C. Todd Stearns, President
2019 was a great year in Ladera Ranch. Let’s recap what businesses opened or are in the process: Grit Cycle, Xclusive Taqueria, Row House, Poke Bowlz, YogaSix, EOS Fitness, Stater Bros… and there’s more! We expect the property manager to sign a major restaurant to occupy the former Beach Fire Grill location and another popular concept in the former Cinnamon Productions location. Positive changes are happening at the Terrace Shops too.
It's exciting to report that Bridgepark Plaza, Mercantile East and the Terrace Shops are all near full occupancy! In support of the work that still remains to be done in Mercantile West, the Chamber started Ranch Night Market - the farmer’s market re-imagined - and we want to say ‘thank you’ for making the Night Market a huge success.
Each market drew approximately 2,000 people to Mercantile West who would otherwise not have visited. That’s been good for the surrounding businesses and in providing visibility for the storefronts that still need quality operators. Your feedback has been valuable and you have been clear on the types of businesses you want to see there, namely, food and beverage vendors. We’ve had a great time shaping the market into an event that you and your families want to visit. Its been fun!
We have terrific businesses here and we encourage you to make them your first choice for food, groceries, haircuts, banking, workouts, and more. The more revenue you circulate through our local economy, it ensures that businesses stay and thrive, and that we attract new businesses. Resident support is the number one factor that contributes to a business’ success - not rent. Please do your part to support our business community.
