The Ladera Ranch Maintenance Corporation (LARMAC) is removing approximately 3,500 square feet of turf grass at the corner of Narrow Canyon and O’Neill Drive. This initiative is supported by the Santa Margarita Water District in collaboration with the Metropolitan Water District and the Municipal Water District of Orange County, offering a rebate of $ 3.00 per square foot.

Will begin Monday, October 7, and is anticipated to take about three weeks to complete. The removed turf will be harvested and repurposed in other community recreational areas, while the new planting design will introduce Ginkgo biloba trees and ornamental grass species, enhancing the aesthetic and reducing water usage. This project not only promotes sustainable landscaping practices but also contributes to the community's overall environmental goals.
